Mentoring in General Practice
Being a mentor in general practice can be intense. Supporting students to achieve their competencies is entirely possible but will take more than shadowing the practice nurse.
Example resources
Here you find some example resources that I have used to make students feel welcome and to facilitate their understanding of general practice in the wider context.
Example instructions for annual reviews (excerpt as not universal)

Quizzes & mini case studies
Quizzes and mini case studies can be used to help student demonstrate the competencies that are otherwise harder to achieve in general practice, see examples below
Please note: I have not updated the links on some of these resources for a while.
